Seat Sale on Bowen Island!

The Community Centre includes a Large Multi-Purpose Room with 180 retractable seats. These seats will host our community for years to come at theatrical performances, all kinds of concerts, movies, cultural events, conference lectures, graduations, town halls, and the list goes on.

As part of the capital fundraising campaign, you now have an opportunity to purchase a seat and have your name forever etched in the legacy this facility will bring to our community. That's right, yours. Forever.

How much does it cost?

For $2500* you get a seat with an engraved name plate attached. The plate can include your name, or a dedication to someone else. You also have the option to remain anonymous, should you so wish.

This sponsorship will be recognized with an engraved name plate, however; this does not indicate ownership of the seat nor will I have specific rights to it once the Community Centre is built.

What are the Benefits of Retractable Seating?

With a large, 180 retractable seat multipurpose room, we'll be able to hold concerts, events, plays, show movies and more! Imagine the possibilities of a purpose built performance space!

When the seats are retracted we'll be able to program Parent and Tot, Preschool movement programs, music programs, drama programs, carpet bowling, dance programs (on the sprung floor) and even Daycamps.

With such a large space, there will be all kinds of rental opportunities such as: weddings, family reunions, Celebration of Life, retreats and even graduations
